Folklore itself being an inter-disciplinary subject, there are ample of opportunities to bring many administrative courses and personality development issues under the fold of Folklore. The scope for studies on Rural Development along with Folklore studies provides the right insight, so the following courses like B.B.M-M.B.A. focusing mainly on Rural, Tribal development in the present context of globalisation. Study of Science is a means to understand the Knowledge of human beings. The branches demarcated as pure science and applied science have specific norms and structures. Folklore is also a science with definite characteristics and that aspect of Folklore will be taught under the courses B.Sc- M.Sc. This provides a greater opportunity to the students to understand the science of living in the folk human culture.
